Fear Itself

Jonah Goldberg is CONCERNED:
I just got an e-mail from OFA (email address: “info@barackobama.com”). The subject line: “This Isn’t Meant to Scare You.” I figured I’d share it with you:
Friend –

Megan Allen is a fifth-grade teacher in Tampa, Florida. At her elementary school, 90 percent of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Many live in poverty, with unstable home lives — some have parents in prison, others go hungry over the weekends. But at school, they’re winning science fairs, challenging themselves, and eating two hot meals a day.

For Megan’s 36 fifth graders, school is a safe place. The budget cuts known as the sequester could change that.

Do any of these fucking idiots know what "Nazis" are other than just generic bad guys with MP40s and really nice uniforms?

Because the number of underprivileged kids who's parents were in - let's go ahead and just say 'prisons' and let the message filter through - who the Nazi Party saw fit to feed and clothe and educate was strictly limited to those who could qualify for the appellation 'aryan'.

But keep demanding cruelty and brutality for Americans and see how that works out for you...

Compared to the rest of the common taters on that thread Mr McGravitas is a gentleman of refinement and taste.
One lady has seen people outside poor homes, smoking at midday on a weekday!11!
One feels the need for one's clutching pearls.
